Disabled single-handed yachtsman Geoff Holt has been shortlisted by British Airways for a Great Britons award.

The prize if he wins in four days’ time is free air fare for his wife Elaine and son Timothy to the Caribbean to meet Geoff at the completion of his next challenge, to sail a specially adapted 60ft catamaran across the Atlantic in December 2009.
