Breaking news from South Wales Boat Show organiser Ben sutcliffe:
‘We will have a new yacht Being Launched at the show? the Carabelli 257. This is being imported by Carabelli Yachts based in Cardiff.

‘We are very excited that they have supported our regional show to launch the new yacht. She is ideal for this area with lifting keel and some of the latest rigging spec’s available making her extremely versatile as a cruiser racer and she is also trailer sailerable too!.’

Previewed in PBO last year, David Harding described it as fast, but ‘by no means an extreme machine. You can have an inboard engine and there’s a fully fitted interior.’

Designed by Brazilian, Horaco Carabelli, the vertically lifting keel draws 1.65m with a 750kg bulb on the bottom and prices starting at £34,285.
