Three boats were destroyed by fire at Dun Laoghaire Marina in Dublin early on Wednesday morning. Two of the boats, a RIB and a small motorboat sank, and the third, a sailing boat, was scorched, but stayed afloat.

No one was on board any of the boats at the time. Police have carried out a technical examination of the scene.
