Padstow Lifeboat House award
At the recent Institute of Structural Engineers award ceremony in London, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution scooped the fifth award for its Padtsow Lifeboat Station. The station houses the 25-knot Tamar class all-weather lifeboat.
Its innovative design was the work of architects Poynton Bradbury Wynter Cole, along with consulting engineers Royal Haskoning, and it was built by Nuttall John Martin Construction.
