Holt buys 50% of Nautos
Sailboat hardware manufacturers Holt have bought 50% of Brazilian company Nautos, which is well established in South America and makes a complete range of sailboat fittings.
Chadwick Beecher-Moore, the son of Holt’s co-founder, explains, ‘Nautos currently have a very strong manufacturing base in southern Brazil, with excellent R&D and new product development facilities. Aligning this with Holt’s long history, brand strength and global distribution network will bring huge benefits to both companies, to our customers and to our OEMs.’
All Nautos products will be rebranded Holt Nautos. Prior to the acquisition, Holt had exclusive European distribution rights for Nautos.
