UK sailmaker Sobstad UK has been purchased by the Elvström Sobstad Group, completing the company’s total acquisition of the Sobstad Corp, it was announced on Friday. The company will remain at its Port Hamble premises on the South Coast, but under the new name of Elvström Sobstad UK. The present Managing Director of Sobstad UK, Kevin Sproul, is to continue managing the company. He commented that the services they offer customers will remain the same, but with the added benefit of a wider range of products and materials now offered to a larger range of boats.
