Practical Boat Owner is calling on coastal marinas to contact us now to ensure inclusion in this year’s Marina Visitors Price Guide.
If your marina has not already supplied its 2012 season daily berthing details to PBO – get in touch fast!
2012 will be the third year running in which we publish a price and facilities guide to daily visitor berthing around Britain and Ireland.
Listing is free of charge, and open to marinas (and harbours offering marina-style berthing) that offer walk-ashore berths with mast-up access from the coast.
Most regions will feature in the Summer issue, with Northern Ireland and the Republic carrying over to August to run in the annual Ireland special.
We published our annual guide back in April, which only featured marinas offering publicly-available annual berths – those offering solely visitor berths have waited for listing until summer, although details for both were collected months ago.
However, a few marinas proved elusive – they may have closed for the winter, changed contact details, or even ceased trading. But if they are still operating, we want to hear from them now.
We also want to hear from any brand new marinas – we’ve already been in touch with a couple, but some may still be hiding under the radar. If that’s you, or you keep your boat in such a marina, call or email PBO as soon as you can.
And if your marina has freshly-installed visitor berths or facilities, again, let us know!
