The board of Raymarine yesterday confirmed that it is in advanced discussions with an unnamed third party regarding a sale of Raymarine Holdings Ltd.

Raymarine has stated that the new offer is worth 17.5p per share and has repeated its call to shareholders to take no action concerning the Garmin offer of 15p per share.
