Amy Rashbrooke grew up in Lymington and the Isle of Wight. She now lives in the South Downs with her mad-keen sailor husband, two children aged 9 and 6, and their ginger cocker spaniel.

They keep their 34ft Moody Excel in Chichester Harbour. Amy is a freelance business journalist – when she’s not writing for her clients, she can be found sailing and writing about that instead.
