Will was a relative latecomer to sailing, gaining his Yachtmaster in his early twenties before working as a professional skipper in the Caribbean, US and Mediterranean.

Following a stint as Sailing Editor at Yachting Monthly, he now writes and sails on a freelance basis with a particular interest in emerging trends and the future of sailing.
