This is the ninth year of running the Holyhead Traditional Sail Festival.

This year we will be joined by the new TS Royalist, Sea Cadet vessel on her maiden voyage from Dublin. The skipper will delay his departure to enable them to take part in our parade of sail.

A number of boats sail across the Irish Sea to join in the fun together with many who trail their boats to join in the activities. The usual battle of Holyhead will take place on the Sunday during the parade of sail, when we have cannon and rifle fire coming from the larger vessels. This creates a huge attraction for the public to view at close quarters in the harbour.
