Bluewater Cruiser’s Question Time
World Cruising Club’s popular Bluewater Cruisers Question Time will take place on Saturday 7 January, at the ExCel Novotel Hotel alongside the London Boat Show. This panel discussion is a must for anyone considering making a long offshore passage; crossing the Bay of Biscay, the Atlantic or further bluewater cruising.
The session is free to attend with advanced registration and delegates are invited to connect with other future ralliers and meet and mingle with the panel and the World Cruising Club team over coffee from 10:00. The Question Time session will begin at 10:30 and finish by midday.
During the discussion the panel of experienced cruisers and marine professionals will cover topics like preparing your boat, selecting equipment, sails and sail handling, life onboard, crew management, route and weather. In addition to industry experts, this year’s panellists will include experienced sailors who have completed countless bluewater sailing passages around the world.
Also available for advice will be representatives from World Cruising Club’s supporters, including Hamble School of Yachting, MailaSail and Mactra Watermakers. The objective is to share their knowledge and experience in a friendly and informative way. Our moderator will keep the discussion moving and audience members are encouraged to participate and to ask questions.
Conveniently located next to the ExCel exhibition centre hosting the London Boat Show participants can visit the show and look at the equipment and boats mentioned during the discussion.
