You might think that strong winds are the ideal time to put your antifouling on, as it will dry quickly. But that’s not the case. The wind will evaporate the top layer of solvent, leaving a hard ‘crust’ on the paint, which is still wet underneath. This will eventually crack and fall off. So unfortunately, it’s probably best to wait for less wind.
