Leftover epoxy - it does have a use
Here’s a useful tip to protect your oar blades from rocks. If you have a leftover pot of epoxy, don’t just leave it to go off – wrap some tape around the ends of the blades so that it overlaps the ends by 1cm, stand them upright, then pour in the epoxy to the tape ‘mould’. Hey presto- sacrificial, toughened tips to your oars.
