Address
Strangford Lough, BT22 1LQ
Portaferry Marina: Strangford Lough is one of only three Marine Nature Reserves in the British Isles and is the largest Sea Lough in Europe. It offers stunning scenery and superb recreational boating opportunities. The villages of Portaferry and Strangford face each other across ‘The Narrows’ where the Irish Sea enters the Lough. A strong tide of up to 8 knots flows here and a car ferry crosses between the two villages every half hour from 0730 until 2245 hrs.
