Fox’s Marina Ipswich: Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Fox’s Marina & Boatyard is a small and friendly, independently owned marina on one of the country’s most beautiful rivers, the River Orwell, on the outskirts of Ipswich, in Suffolk.

The marina is accessible at all states of the tide with no lock gates and has excellent communication links, being a few minutes drive from the A12/A14 interchange, less than two miles from Ipswich Station and just a 50-minute drive to Stansted Airport.

We have a long serving and friendly team who will do their best to ensure your stay, whether as a permanent berth holder or visitor, is as enjoyable as possible.

Fox’s Marina & Boatyard is a full service yard with the largest yacht repair, refit and maintenance facility on the east coast with over 20,000 sq ft of under cover workshop space. Our boatyard is unique in the breadth of experience of our skilled craftsmen and engineers specialising in working on modern GRP cruising yachts, race boats and motorboats as well as classic wooden yachts.

Fox’s is a key supplier to some of the best and biggest names in British yacht building, including Oyster Marine, Spirit Yachts, Gunfleet Yachts and most recently Windboats Hardy Motorboats.

Fox’s also regularly carries out repair work on behalf of many of the major insurance companies, including Pantaenius, Haven Knox-Johnston and Admiral, in addition to being on Towergateís list of approved repairers.

Foxís Marine & Country store, located on site adjacent to the marina, is the largest store of its kind on the east coast with 15,000 sq ft of retail space, stocking all the leading brands of chandlery, electronics and sailing equipment, in addition to a large range of leisure, shooting and country clothing and accessories.
