The crew of a catamaran have abandoned their vessel after it was involved in a collision with a fishing boat off Cornish coast.

The collision happened two miles south off Pendennis Point off Falmouth, coastguards said.

The three crew members got off the catamaran in a small dinghy which was on board. No-one was injured. The catamaran was left partially sunk and the fishing boat sustained some damage to its bow.
