The Northern Boat Show has begun on Liverpool Waterfront as part of the International Mersey River Festival.
This three-day festival of boating, which has attracted more than 150 exhibitors, aims to showcase world class sailing boats, power boats and marine products and services, all set against the spectacular backdrop of the Albert Dock.
There is also a free land-based exhibition on the quayside next to Salthouse Dock.
The Northern boat Show runs from 10am to 5pm from today until Sunday, 7 June.
Last year, the International Mersey River Festival attracted around 200,000 visitors and this year’s event is set to be just as popular with activities for all the family.
Tall Ships, naval vessels and barges are just some of the boats people can explore. Walking tours, air shows, model boat displays, flyboarding and have a go water sports sessions are also popular.
For music lovers, there’s plenty on offer as Music on the Waterfront forms part of the celebrations.
