Company relaunched at London Boat Show
The London Boat Show opened this morning with good news for the British boatbuilding industry and fans of the famous Cornish Crabber range. Following the demise of Select Yachts late last year, the Cornish Crabbers part of the business has been rescued and is now back in production.
The rights to the complete range of Crabbers, plus the Mystery 35 and the Link 30, have been bought by a proud Crabber 22 owner, Philip Langsdale, who will recommence building the designs in the existing factory in Rock, Cornwall.
The original staff are being retained, and the new company, Cornish Crabbers LLP will be run by Peter Thomas (sales) and Roger Cox (production).
There was just time to secure a stand at the London Boat Show at the ExCeL centre, where visitors can see a Cornish Shrimper on display in the North Hall, stand N20B.
