Cowes Yacht Haven is launching a loyalty card scheme to reward and recognise its most loyal returning customers. Visiting seafarers will have the chance to accumulate free berthing at its marina on the Isle of Wight.
The marina, which is home to international sailing events such as Cowes Week, Round the Island Race and La Solitaire du Figaro, regularly runs offers on its berthing rates but this is the first time it has launched a loyalty card scheme.
Customers will be rewarded with a free overnight stay for every nine nights they berth with Cowes Yacht Haven, subject to availability, saving potentially more than £120.
The scheme will launch on 1 April and there is no time limit to accumulate the number of visits needed for a free stay. There is also no limit on the number of free nights a customer can acquire in a year.
The marina welcomes more than 130,000 visitors and over 25,000 boats per year, who will all be able to take advantage of the new loyalty card. Those who sign up to the scheme will also receive tailored offers throughout the year.
It is hoped that the loyalty card will encourage more visitors to stop at Cowes on their way across the Channel. Seafarers will also have more time to explore more of the Isle of Wight and discover attractions they haven’t visited yet.
Jon Pridham, managing director of Cowes Yacht Haven, said: ‘We’re very excited to announce the launch of our first ever loyalty card. We wanted to reward the customers who return to us time and time again and also encourage others to come back and discover a side of the Island they haven’t experienced yet.
‘It’s a great scheme that we can’t wait to unveil. We will also offer our loyalty members special deals throughout the year to say thank you for being a part of something special with us.’
