The picturesque Devon town of Brixham, ever-popular with the sailing fraternity, is the star of a new TV documentary, ‘Fish Town‘, which began airing on Sky Atlantic last Friday.

In the first of the series, which consists of ten hour-long episodes, the focus was on skippers returning to their yachts in the spring, as well as on the characters who live and work in the ancient port.

PBO reader David Thomas was delighted to learn that, towards the end of the series, sailing visitors will be seen buying a dog lifejacket in his chandlery.
