Autumn sun for sailboat shopping?
The next two weekends will be the final opportunity to get out and visit used boat shows before your daylight is curtailed on Sunday 30 October, when the clocks go back.
International brokers Ancasta are holding two shows this weekend, at Brighton Marina and Dartmouth’s Darthaven Marina. Kicking off tomorrow, Saturday 22 October, the two long-running and successful events will showcase a huge selection of used sailing yachts and motor boats, attracting interest not only from the UK but further afield.
At Ipswich, Jeanneau brokers Clarke & Carter are hosting ‘The largest boat show on the East Coast’ with their Yacht and Motorboat Fair from 28-30 October. More than three decades after its inception the show will incorporate ‘Meet the Professionals’ on the Saturday and Sunday, giving the opportunity to grill the experts with your boaty questions. More than 120 used boats will be on display, along with a range of new Jeanneaus, at Suffolk Yacht Harbour.
