Millions of pounds worth of cocaine washes up on UK's western beaches
Around £6million worth of cocaine tightly wrapped in plastic has washed up on Cornish beaches in the last three weeks, according to press reports.
A further £1.6m has been handed in to police forces in Wales, some of which is clearly marked ‘Columbia’.
The presence of barnacles on the packages suggest they have been in the water some time, and there is even speculation they may have drifted all the way across the Atlantic from the Caribbean.
