The new-look Cowes Port Handbook 2016-2017 is hot off the press and being distributed to numerous outlets around the Isle of Wight.
The Cowes Port Handbook contains all the usual essential information, including important navigation tips, updates on the Cowes Breakwater and other developments, and of course Cowes tide times and a Solent Buoy Racer map.
As part of this year’s bigger format, the Cowes Port Handbook also includes features on port apprenticeships, the work of the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, and the Solitaire du Figaro race, which will be visiting Cowes for the first time this year.
A Cowes Harbour Commission (CHC) spokesman said: ‘Horizon Publishing and True Angle Editorial have provided the design, production, and editorial content, with assistance from the CHC team.
‘Special thanks are due to them, to all those who have contributed in some way to this year’s Port Handbook, and also to the businesses supporting the handbook through advertising.’
The Cowes Port Handbook, which has been produced for almost 20 years, is designed to promote the harbour, Cowes and East Cowes to leisure visitors, as well as providing an essential reference tool for local residents and harbour users.
A digital version of the Cowes Port Handbook 2016-17 is available online.
