The fourth North Wales Boat Show opens this Friday 29 July. The three-day event, running through Sunday 31 at Vaynol Estate in Bangor, is the biggest marine event in North Wales.

More than 100,000 visitors are expected through the gates to sample the delights that 100-plus exhibitors have to offer.

Previous years have seen over a thousand people taking up the ‘Come & Try’ feature on the lake, sampling canoes, jetskis, sailing dinghies and the Zap Cat for £1 a go.

Attractions will reportedly include anything from Sunseeker’s Portofino 48 to Swansea University’s marine survey vessel, with Bénéteau the stand-out for sailing yachts. In addition, sailing ‘guru’ John Goode will be on hand to dispense words of wisdom.
