Plas Heli is organising a new boat show using the facilities of the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre in Pwllheli, from 10 to 12 June 2016.
It comes after the All Wales Boat Show organisers cancelled plans for this year’s event, saying they were instead focusing on a ‘bigger and better’ show in Conwy in 2017.
Plas Heli – the Welsh National Sailing Academy – is to hold a new boat show at its venue, on the same dates as the originally planned event.
A Pwllheli Boat Show spokesman said: ‘The announcement that Plas Heli is running the Boat Show in 2016 has been well received and exhibitors are already supporting the event.’
Pwllheli harbour and marina provides easy access to the sailing waters recognised as amongst the best in the UK.
In Cardigan Bay the tidal streams are weak, winds are stable and the scenery is superb. Snowdon and the Welsh mountains providing a magnificent backdrop for any water sport or for that idyllic cruise to explore the scenic coastline of natural beauty and the many safe anchorages and harbours.
Pwllheli Boat Show is an opportunity for businesses to show their products and services in a comfortable and friendly indoor environment and by using the dedicated events pontoons for displaying boats on the water.
The weekend show will start on Friday 10 June and run until Sunday 12 June.
