Service remembers lost men at sea
Relatives, friends and colleagues of fishing crews lost at sea have gathered in Hull to mark the city’s 17th annual Lost Trawlermen’s Day. Sunday’s memorial service had added poignancy as it fell on the anniversary of the lost Hull trawler, Ross Cleveland, which sank in 1968.
Prayers for the drowned fishermen were said during a midday service at the port’s St Andrew’s Dock.
