A blockbuster film documenting a young crew’s attempt to win the famous TransPac race is to be released by Disney in the UK to coincide with the Southampton Boat Show.

Morning Light tells the story of a group of intrepid and determined young men and women, many of whom could not sail before their adventure, as they learn to race a high-performance 52-foot sloop in the TRANSPAC race, a 2,300 mile ocean classic from Los Angeles to Honolulu.

The film will be shown exlusively for its first week at the Odeon cinema next to the Southampton Boat Show venue – and will then be extended to the following cinemas:
