The new boatyard on the Hamble River will be officially declared open with a plaque on the boatyard marking the occasion alongside directors from Premier Marinas.

The ceremony will be complemented by a host of activities, including air performing, gymnastic tumbling, a display by aerial silk dancers and live music from soul band Fat Cats.

Onsite brokers Sea Ventures, Ancasta, Princess, Sunseeker and Clipper will all have a range of new and used boats to view, plus electronics business, Landau will be exhibiting Garmin, Raymarine and Navico roadshow trailers, offering demonstrations and expert advice.

Marine businesses located in the new boatyard will also throw open their doors to showcase marine products and services.

Other local marine organisers will also be in attendance and there will be a charity raffle plus a hog roast available for berth holders.
