February’s issue of PBO, on sale now, includes Digby Fox’s account of a cruise in Patagonia, taking in Cape Horn, the delights of the world’s southernmost Yacht Club and a week’s exploration of the southern archipelagos.

Meanwhile, from 1130 GMT today, you can watch live video of the leaders of the Vendée Globe race round Cape Horn and begin their passage up the South Atlantic and towards the finish line in Les Sables d’Olonne.

Race leader Michel Desjoyaux in Foncia is expected to round the cape from 11:30 GMT today. The videos will be available on the Vendee Globe video server in the afternoon.
